Autumn 2010

On Mom's birthday, we explored the lovely Elk Island.

It used to be privately owned. The family actually had their house on the island!

Now the park service keeps it.
When the water level is low, you can access the island on foot and hike around it!

At a soap making class some friends hosted.
The table set for Thanksgiving dinner!
With our friends at the end of a delightful Thanksgiving celebration!

A small wonder of God's creation.

In front of a beautiful old church in Historic Oregon City.

What lovely pictures! It looks like you've had a wonderful autumn!
Thanksgiving sure was a highlight for us! Thanks again for having us over… that sure made wonderful memories! =)
Out of curiosity, may I ask why you were at the Old Church? Was it for someone’s concert?

Thanks for posting!

Did you see any Elk on Elk Island? Do they let you hunt there?
Cool pictures :). I don't believe it's possible to have to much fun, but I think you all are pushing the limit!

@Bethany: We were at "an" old church, not "The Old Church" in Portland that hosts concerts quite often. :)

@Daniel: There aren't any elk on Elk Island anymore. (If there were, I'm sure you wouldn't be able to hunt them.)

@Daniel: Yes, I agree.... However I think on Thanksgiving we really did push the limit!

@Bisceglia Family: I still have some movie clips of reading the "Thanksgiving story". :) I laugh everytime I watch Kathrina reading it! I really need to upload those.:)

No elk? Hmmm, they should change the name then...
Shiloh: Sounds like there's a story there...
