CD Release Concert: setting up

Although doors were not to open to the public until 6:30 pm, we arrived at Gladstone Christian Church at 2:00 to set up. We had big ideas for decorating and set up. This was to be a best-ever concert for the Bisceglia family! Here is a photo of the hall. Spacious and classy! Do you think we were able to fill up ALL those chairs?

We got to use the church's large, professional kitchen. Here Janna is putting trays of pre-made cookie dough in to bake.

Snow-topped chocolate mint cookies! The kitchen had some wonderful cooling racks!

Aunt Paula envisioned the refreshment table decorated with instruments and greenery. Mom thought is was a rather strange idea. We were able to pull some old instruments out of the closet and the dream became gorgeous reality.

Kathrina filling wooden bowls with a nut mix.

Setting up the sound equipment. Everyone looks so serious!

I love this photo of Michael and Lynn sitting in front of the mixing board. They sat here for the entire concert and their smiling faces kept us encouraged! Despite enjoying himself so much, Michael didn't forget to keep the sound coming out the speakers well balanced and beautiful!

What are they discussing? Michael was very good about working with Kathrina and helping her find the perfect set up!

It's getting close to starting time! Here we are doing the sound check.

Grandma bought us a beautiful flower arrangement to put at the entrance to the hall and Aunt Paula framed our name so elegantly!

A feast for the eyes as well as the stomach! Aunt Paula artfully laid out the cookies on a long table. I can't believe we made that many cookies! Well, I think they must have been good because there were very few left over!

Sarah and Paula arranged the CD sales table. Oohh! Looks like everything's all ready to go! Are we on schedule?

Keslie arranged the Cd's so prettily!
Time to open the doors! Let the concert begin!
