ooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh. I think I see it now. that whole joke was about feet running and noses smelling, but the question was why can it also be backwards! (I figured that out by myself :)) That's a good one, I'll have to remember it. Daniel (I forgot to sign mine too but I figured the picture would help ;))
This pressing question has rendered me many a sleepless night! Well not really…! :) Any way, here is my answer to the question “Why do noses run and feet smell?” my answer is: “For a reason.” (After all, runny noses and smelly feet just don’t “happen”!)
So this is what I think about this question… I think it is a logical sentence (i.e. no circular reasoning) but it seems to be more like “circular wording” (if there is such a thing!). If you switch the “run” and the “smell”, you still end up with a statement that makes sense!
Tough luck, Daniel. (Actually, maybe you both should get credit.)
Oh, and you don't have to worry about signing your comments if you don't care to; I only do because I'm one of seven who could all potentially write with this user. :) ~Kathrina
yeah maybe so. what you think you are my role model for life or something??? ;) just kidding, but you never know who might get on my account and blackmail me (yes I have that type of family ;) somehow I survive though). Jonathan hahahaha just kidding it's Daniel :)
Very funny. :) I don't think I can ever trust that your comments are actually yours now....kinda sad...;( ~the Fourth Rose (my alternate name, you know)
Daniel, please don’t think that I copied your answer! I just read your comments through (I had only grazed them at first), and I see that you mean the same thing as what I said. But since this is such a short sentence, I don’t think we can get much out of it accept for that!
Kathrina, don’t worry, I always sign my name – out of habit I guess!

P.S. I can’t wait to see you all on Fri! We’ve been practicing - or should I say “pretending” to do our Irish dancing… but it’s more to get a laugh out of our other siblings!! ;)
Kathrina: don't worry, I don't think anyone in my family wold really even think to tap into my blogger account... yeah I knew that was you're alternate name (I know everything ;)). I have tons of alternate names, Jonathan gives me more everyday and I still don't know what some of them mean :) just kidding. Bethany: I didn't really think you copied, I was just wondering why Kathrina gave you all that credit and not me ;). Like I said before, yours was more grammatically correct than mine was... when I typed it I wasn't thinking about grammar, I was thinking more "why in tarnation didn't I type in that stinkin' word verification the _first_ time". Daniel PS really ;)
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm a "ghost" visitor, too, as I've visited your blog a few times. I'm glad that you enjoy the nature close-ups--there is a great amount of amazing insects and such that are never really seen well except in photos. I dislike spiders, but photograph them every chance I get, and often the pictures are quite different than the actual spider. ;-)

I think you mean that Feet run and Noses smell :)
Hi Daniel, thanks for stopping by!!
Yes, but how would is sound to say "runny" feet and "smelly" noses?
I meant that you run with your feet and smell with your nose :)
I get it. ;)
~Kathrina (I forgot to sign the last comment, sorry)

Thanks Bethany! I like your answer, as well as your perspective on the riddle as a sentence. See you all on April 2nd!
