Moments with the Dictionary of Music #7

Largo [It., broad, large]. (1) Very slow; according to some 18th-century theorists, the slowest of the principal divisions of tempo, though then and later it was often placed between adagio and andante. (2) A movement whose tempo is largo.

WHEW! I am breathing a sigh of relief...

Largo? Larghetto? Largamente? I’ll say it was long…

Wow Bethany...
@Bisceglias: this is pretty random, but are you going to release a new cd this year?

Daniel- Shhh! Don’t say that on the internet! It’s a secret!

Just kidding… ;) or maybe I’m just saying that to throw you off so you don’t know that I know… but then maybe....

Well, Daniel, we don't have anything in the works yet. Our concert-goers have to buy a few more of the last two CDs before we can do the next. ;)

We'll definitely make an announcement when we're in the studio again. I just don't know when that's going to be.

Shiloh: either way it didn't work :-).
Kathrina: Hmmm, afraid I can't help you out there, I already have three of your CDs :-).
Here's what you should do: announce that you're coming out with a new CD next year, and say that pre-orders are now available. That should help fund the making of it!
Daniel
PS: yes, I'm joking...
