This year marked our eighth annual performance at the Grotto's Christmas Festival of Lights. It was truly a delight to play for hundreds of people in the chapel.
It would be better if the microphones weren't there, but it was also good to be able to hear you, so I can't complain. Anyway, I thought you all did a great job, and I was glad so many people were able to come see you (and I was glad I was one of them :). See you all next Friday! Merry Christmas! Daniel PS I had to say, the chocolate balls were pretty much just awesome. (and if I had a cannon I would fire it...) But since I left me cannon at home I'll simply have to say, "Thank you very very very much!"
Very nice pictures! Love the shots and you all look so good together on stage. :) Noah fits right in with so many girls! :D I'm really sad we didn't make it, but I saw our friends in one of the pictures... glad they were able to make it!
Neat blog. I saw the VonTrapp family once in concert and really enjoyed their music. It is cool that you do this and enjoy spending time together. Families like that are rare in today's society. You must be one talented family.

Ya Bethany, I'm a little tired of people making jokes about me having 4 sisters. :) As for you Daniel, getting in for free was quite a steal...in fact you've gotten into almost every one of our concerts free this year. Maybe it's time to collect some money. :)
Noah: I wasn't making fun of you having four sisters and all... it was Daniel that hatched that lie. :) I was just saying that you look great with your sisters! BTW: Jordan says he "understands you"... :)
Daniel: So the truth comes out!!! No wonder you hit every concert... Noah is right. Payback time!
Notice Noah got in free too, he just thinks he deserved it cuz he gets to stand up there and rock out on his guitar. Just kidding, I have too much fun at those concerts, I get free rides and free admission, (and sometimes even free food), and all I do is carry some stuff around and snap a few photos! Yep, ya don't get much better than that, you're right to be envious, Bethany.

I do have to put in a good word for Daniel here to say that he earned his way into the concerts by doing all the heavy work as our roadie. :)
