Song Lyrics: Homeward Bound

We have had some requests for the lyrics of the songs featured on our CD Journey Through The Highlands. Below are the lyrics for Homeward Bound by Marta Keen and Jay Althouse. We first fell in love with this song upon hearing the VonTrapp children sing it on their CD The VonTrapp Children Volume One. We created a medley using Homeward Bound and Hymne, a soaring melody by Vangelis. Hymne was used in the movie Chariots of Fire to introduce runner and missionary Eric Liddell. Eric Liddell is very popular in our house, being one of our favorite heroes of the faith.
