Wyndeharp

Janna's harp teacher, who this year retired from teaching, wanted Janna to have her pedal harp, named Wyndeharp. A pedal harp, such as the ones you might see at the symphony, uses pedals located at the bottom of the soundboard to change the sharps and flats. Janna's Celtic harp uses levers located along the neck to change the sharps and flats. The pedal harp will allow Janna to play in more keys and challenge her skills as she tries the more advanced pedal harp repertoire. We will still use her beloved Celtic harp for most performances, but Wyndeharp will allow Janna to play a wide variety of harp music and will probably make its way to some solo performances and weddings.

We had fun re-arranging our living room to make room for our newest instrument! How special to be able to make a home for this harp, which has been lovingly cared for by Joyce Leonard for many years!
