We were told that watching the sunrise from the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park was a must-do for us west coasters. So we got up at 3:00am in order to pack lunch before making the 2 hour drive to the park. We made it to the top of Cadillac Mountain at 6:00am, just as the first hints of color were breaking across the sky.
The first glimpse of the sun!
The mist lay heavy upon the ocean, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere.
Kathrina is glowing in the light of her graduation destination.
The sun crept behind an upper layer of clouds.
The sky seemed to be on fire as the brightness of the sun glowed through the clouds.
We were the first people in the USA to watch the day begin!

That verse made me think of your pictures when we read it tonight. That sky is truly a beautiful tapestry of God's creation. Wow!
That was neat that you were the first ones to see the dawn of a new day. :)
Methinks there are still pictures coming. ;) I guess I just have to wait and find out!
